Founded in Vancouver in 1996, KDB Technical Services inc. helps organizations design, deploy and manage their IT infrastructure. For nearly 30 years, we have put our expertise to work for organizations of all sizes, delivering reliable, secure solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Although our head office is in Western Canada, we serve clients in Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montréal and Québec City, among others. Our remote management tools let us provide fast, effective support anywhere in Canada, and we go on-site whenever the work requires it. The loyalty of our clients, several of whom have trusted us for more than two decades, reflects the quality of our service and our commitment.

Our team

Daniel Bouchard – President and Principal Consultant

The founder of KDB Technical Services inc., Daniel Bouchard has been passionate about computers since childhood. He started programming on a Tandy TRS-80, where he learned BASIC and FORTRAN, a passion that grew into a career spanning several decades.

As principal consultant, he brings deep expertise in systems architecture, IT infrastructure, cloud platform administration and cybersecurity.

Over his career, he has:

• taken part in the very first implementation of a private automated credit card authorization system in Canada;
• helped improve robotic manufacturing processes in the aerospace, military and apparel industries;
• held IT leadership positions in biomedical research organizations, CPA firms and law firms.

Certifications and expertise:

• Microsoft certifications.
• Thorough knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 regulatory requirements and SOC 2 compliance best practices.
• Expertise in Microsoft infrastructure, virtualization, cloud services, IT security and business continuity.

Richard – Senior Systems Engineer

Richard has more than 20 years of experience designing, deploying and maintaining complex IT infrastructure.

Expertise:

• Microsoft certifications.
• In-depth knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 and SOC 2 requirements.
• Server administration, virtualization, networking and cloud services.

Yvan – IT Technician

Yvan provides local technical support to our clients in Québec, handling installations, preventive maintenance and on-site service calls.

Ezekiel – Technical Support Specialist and Systems Administrator

Ezekiel is responsible for advanced technical support, systems administration and the day-to-day operation of our clients’ infrastructure.

Sari – Web and SEO Specialist

Sari helps our clients with their online presence, offering web design, search engine optimization (SEO) and online visibility services.

Émilie – Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Émilie oversees the company’s financial operations. Her expertise also helps optimize and integrate our clients’ accounting and financial systems when needed.
